Hindi Thriller Strikes Gold in New York

Another year is now done and dusted for the New York Festivals Radio Awards with winners announced on 18 April. Submissions from Asia came from India, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.

In the podcast category, Hindi thriller drama podcast Bhaskar Bose took home gold.

The series follows accountant by day, detective by night, Bhasker Bose, created by MnM Talkies - a production company founded by actor, RJ Mantra, who is also a television presenter, radio jockey, model and voice over artist.

Others who made the list of finalists include The Phoenix, which won Silver in the social justice category, produced by Bhopuwala Creative.

From Singapore, LOVE 972 Radio Drama – The Angel’s Secret drama podcast was awarded a Finalist certificate, produced by Mediacorp.
